I can’t even begin to tell you how much I adored shooting this wedding.
I took quite a bit of time off from photography when I was pregnant with my daughter and for most of her first year. Over the last several months, I slowly started taking on sessions again and when Katherine contacted me about photographing her (ahem, long overdue) wedding, I was so excited and just had to say yes.
The love between this couple and even more so, from their family and friends is something that is rarely seen these days. From the rehearsal dinner the night before all the way to the very end of the reception, my heart was so full from being around such amazingly, wonderful people.
This wedding will forever be “the one” that reminded me why I fell in love with wedding photography in the first place and why I decided to rebrand and refocus my business into just weddings.
Congratulations Katherine & Jen- I wish you all of the happiness in the world!
How amazing is this cake from Sugar Plum Bakery?!?
(Not only are their cakes gorgeous and absolutely delicious, but they do so much for the special needs community as well!)
A DJ who can get everyone on the dance floor to learn the “Thriller” choreography is my favorite kind of DJ! Melody & Co. kept the party going ALL night and her energy was so contagious! The following images can only be described with two words:
…and they lived happily ever after.
